Global Leaderboard — Compete Weekly
How the Leaderboard Works
Every week, Geographly players compete for XP in their league. Earn XP by completing daily challenges — the better you perform across all four stages (shapes, neighbors, capitals, flags), the more XP you collect. At the end of each week, the leaderboard resets and players move up or down based on their performance.
7 League Tiers — From Bronze to Diamond
The ranking system features seven competitive tiers, each with its own identity and challenge level:
- Bronze League — Where every player begins. Complete daily challenges to earn XP and learn the fundamentals of world geography. The top performers get promoted to Silver.
- Silver League — You have proven your basics. Now the competition gets tighter. Consistent daily play and accuracy are key to climbing higher.
- Gold League — The middle tier where dedicated players separate from casual ones. Expect opponents who know their capitals and flags well.
- Sapphire League — Geography enthusiasts who rarely miss a day. At this level, most players can identify countries by shape alone.
- Ruby League — Elite territory. Players here achieve near-perfect scores regularly and maintain long daily streaks.
- Emerald League — The penultimate tier. Only the most dedicated geography experts reach this level through weeks of consistent top performance.
- Diamond League — The pinnacle of Geographly. Reserved for the very best players globally. Reaching Diamond means you have mastered world geography at the highest competitive level.
Promotion and Relegation
At the end of each week, the top players in every league get promoted to the next tier, while those at the bottom are relegated. This keeps competition fresh and gives every player a realistic goal — whether you are aiming for Silver or fighting to stay in Diamond. Missing a week? Your streak freeze can protect your progress.
